"Crimean Stories" begin with Nariman Aliev's debut short film, shot in Crimea before the annexation, and ends with works by Ernes Sarykhalil, Edem Sattarov and Abdullah Abdulaiev about Crimean Tatars who have been forced to leave their homes since the peninsula came under temporary occupation.

All of these stories are about family ties, the nature of attachments and relationships that are put to the test. They are also about preserving traditions and caring about the fate of a people who have been deprived of their homeland for generations.
