Shot in 2021, the film tells the story of a volunteer rescue squad that saves animals on the streets of Kyiv and its head Misha, who put his family on the line and chose to help animals rather than save his seriously ill young daughter. Since in Ukraine there is no state service of this kind, the squad exists solely on enthusiasm and donations, so their equipment and methods sometimes remind DIY.
