VITA

«VITA» is a short documentary about Vita, a neonatologist who deals with premature, "pathological", abandoned, and healthy babies daily. At any moment she must be ready to save a life that has just been born. She wants to have a family of her own, but she devotes herself to her work. Sometimes Vita cradles abandoned children, such as Khrystia, whose "mother" abandoned her older brother in the hospital three years ago. Despite her love for her work and children, she resigns from the maternity hospital to join the Ukrainian Armed Forces in a medical battalion. For three years, she has been dealing with the birth of human life, and now she may have to face death.
