TYSK

The Ukrainian electronic formation TYSK has been reinterpreting the british electronic sound since 2020, multiplying it with references to the cultural code of the Ukrainian electronic scene and recitative. The sound of TYSK is a melting pot of grime, breaks, and electro. The documentary features footage of the arrival of the legend of grime scene, Plastician, in pre-war Kharkiv. The moments of the TYSK bands's parties, where Plastician played in 2021, are contrasted with the footage of the first months of the war in the city, when the band members were delivering humanitarian aid under incessant bombardments.
