Before the fruit comes
Sonya, a 16-year-old teenager who does not feel comfortable with her body, is preparing for a date with her boyfriend Artem. They arrange to meet in the forest and go to an unoccupied house, which is being prepared for sale. Grandmother tells Sonya that spring frost is coming and they should burn brushwood at night so that the tree buds do not freeze. Sonya and Artem come to the house. They talk about plans for the future. Sonya wants to enter a university, move to the city and become an adult shift/transition to adulthood as soon as possible. Artem is not yet ready to leave his parents' home. Sonya is upset, but Artem extinguishes the conflict with jokes. Teenagers have sex for the first time in their lives. Their classmates spy on the couple. At a certain moment the classmates burst out laughing and insulting Sonya. Sonia, dejected, returns home, where her parents set fire to save the blossoming garden from the frost. Sonia helps her parents. She sits down by the fire. Her face is in smoke. Sonya draws warlike stripes with soot and confidently looks ahead.
