blue-yellow world

Kyj, Shchek, Khoryv, and Lybid share a large apartment in the area of old Kyiv. Their relationships reflect those found in market, state, culture, and civil society of Ukraine, influenced by modern images and their connotations. Living in the routine of the blue-yellow world, the characters go through a complex stage of life: the constant threat of death leads each of them to different forms of escapism, from a desire for wealth to hipsterish political activism, and on this way characters face questions of independence, responsibility, and obligations, all beginning with a drone-shattered window and Khoriv's question, "Why do we still live together?"
